This 7-hole ocarina is intended for children of school age or for adults without any prior knowledge of playing musical notation. A full chromatic scale is available and the intsrument is easy to learn with the help of the included study book. Fingering is similar to that of a recorder and is presentated in an easy to understand format via fingering diagrams using point- and numbering systems. Piccolo ocarinas that are tuned in C are especially suited to playing Irish music. Easy to carry around and transport thanks to its compact construction.
